Blå Salen
Blå salen (the blue hall) was once a storage space during the shipyard era that once occupied the site where the hotel now stands. Traces of that time remain – visible in the worn floor, marked and shaped by years of use. Today, it’s one of our most flexible venues. Tiered seating creates the perfect setting for lectures, concerts and performances, while more traditional layouts suit conferences just as well. If needed, the space is even large enough to accommodate a car. FOR CELEBRATIONS. Blå Salen also lends itself perfectly to company parties and anniversaries. Set for anything from elegant gala dinners with white tablecloths to long communal tables – or even hay bales, if you prefer. Meals & fika
We know that the “most important” part of any conference is fika (Fika – a Swedish coffee break with something sweet, best enjoyed together) – closely followed by the food. We have our very own bakery in the hotel, where we bake fresh bread, rolls and all your fika every day. We call it baking right here.
In the kitchen, our head chef and team create dishes rooted in the season, with carefully selected ingredients.
