Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is no later than 11:00 on the day of departure.

Would you like to check in earlier or stay a little longer? We offer early check-in from 1pm and late check-out until 1pm for an additional fee. Please contact the reception in advance to book either option – availability is limited.

If you are staying with us for a conference, guaranteed check-in is from 4pm and check-out is no later than 9am.

We offer 100 parking spaces, available subject to availability, at a cost of SEK 120 per day.

Parking cannot be reserved in advance, but we do our best to accommodate our guests upon arrival. If our parking is full, there are nearby municipal parking areas available.

We also offer charging stations for electric cars at SEK 295.

If our charging stations are full, there are nearby communal charging stations available.

In some of our rooms we offer the possibility for an additional bed.

You need to be 18 or over to stay with us. If wish to stay with us at a younger age, please contact us to discuss possible arrangements.

Children under the age of 18 are welcome in the company of an adult.

Want to make your stay extra special? You can easily make additions to your booking. For inspiration and order, please contakt us via e-mail on privatbokning@marstrands.se or follow the link in your booking confirmation.

We want you to feel confident when booking your stay with us. You can change or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival.

If you’d like extra flexibility, you can purchase cancellation protection. With this option, you can change or cancel your booking up until 6pm on the day before arrival.

For your convenience, we offer a locked luggage storage room where you can store your belongings before check-in or after check-out. This allows you to explore the area freely without having to worry about your luggage.

Please don’t hesitate to ask our staff if you need assistance storing your luggage during your stay.

Please note that the hotel does not take responsibility for any lost or unattended items stored in the luggage area.

We apply prepayment for all bookings that include an overnight stay. This means your stay is paid in advance at the time of booking. The payment secures your reservation and ensures a smoother check-in upon arrival.

Yes – as an overnight guest, you have complimentary access to our gym and classes during your stay.
You’ll find everything you need, whether you prefer cardio, strength or functional training.

We are proud to offer an accessible hotel designed to make your stay as comfortable and inclusive as possible.
The hotel is equipped with lifts and ramps for easy access, and we offer accessible rooms in our Havsbris Twin category, specially designed to provide extra space and comfort.

Our spa is accessible; however, we unfortunately do not have ramp access to the pools or outdoor areas.

If you have any specific needs or questions regarding accessibility, please don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re happy to help ensure a great experience for all our guests.

We offer designated rooms where dogs are welcome. These can be booked online under the room category Havsbris Twin.

An additional fee of SEK 400 per night applies when bringing a dog.

To visit our spa, the minimum age is 12.
During selected periods, such as school holidays, children from the age of 4 are welcome when accompanied by a guardian.

A bathrobe and towel are included with your visit. Please note that from February 2024, we are a slipper-free hotel as part of our sustainability efforts. We therefore encourage you to bring your own slippers when visiting our spa.

We offer a wide range of treatments for both body and mind – from relaxing massages to results-driven skincare.

Enjoy a day in our spa. When you book spa for the day you have access to during morning or afternoon. Current times are:

9am - 2 pm | 3pm - 8pm

Not to worry. If you forgot to pack your swimwear we offer a small range for sale in our spa reception.

We have two dining times in our restaurant. We kindly ask you to respect your allocated time.

If you wish to change your seating time, please speak to our staff in the restaurant – we’ll do our best to assist you, subject to availability.

You’re welcome to charge spa purchases to your room. For restaurant purchases, we kindly ask for payment at the time of service to ensure a smooth check-out.

We are a cashless hotell and accept payment by debit- & credit card such as Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

If you wish to pay for your stay with a gift card issued by us, you can easily do so during the booking process by selecting it as a payment method.

If you would like to pay using a voucher issued by us, please contact us at privatbokning@marstrands.se, and we will be happy to assist you.

Marstrands Havshotell is located on Koön, right by the ferry terminal to Marstrandsön – easy to reach by both car and public transport.

BY CAR

From Gothenburg, take the E6 north towards Kungälv. Exit at 86 (Kareby/Marstrand) and follow the signs to Marstrand.

Once you arrive on Koön, follow the signs to the Marstrand ferry terminal – Marstrands Havshotell is located right by the water, just before the ferry. Parking is available at the hotel. Please see Parking for more information.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

From Gothenburg Central Station, take a Västtrafik train towards Marstrand. Change at Ytterby. Get off at “Marstrands färjeläge” – the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the stop.
